Fairborn High School Chemistry Programs
Advanced Placement (AP) Chemistry -
General course information, and year-long schedules
are available to enrolled students. Students can find out information about the
AP Program, the AP Test. Students have access to actual
class resource sheets, notes, labs and some worksheets. Lists of both assigned
problems and sample problems can be both viewed and printed. Weekly grades
are posted by student Class Id's.
Honors Chemistry -
General course information, and year-long schedule are available to enrolled students. Students have access to actual class
resource sheets, notes, labs and some worksheets. Lists of the assigned problems

Chemistry and Society
-
This course will emphasize the practical applications of chemistry, as well as the impact of chemistry on society. The
principles and theories of chemistry will be presented as a basis for
understanding chemistry related issues facing the world. Students will be
encouraged to explore these issues through class activities, laboratory
activities, discussions and various reading assignments. The course is intended
as a college preparatory class for students who do not plan to further their
studies in chemistry.
